Obama, shut the Government down for 17 days, in 2013, to force ObamaCare.
The Affordable Care Plan (ObamaCare) was never affordable, admits the editorial board of the Washington Post. The council that praised Obama’s “signature achievement” finally revealed what the American people so clearly experienced – healthcare costs rose exceedingly.
Here is the “Affordable” Care Act. Obama did this. It was intentional. It is $20,160 per year.
Schumer wants taxpayers to heavily subsidize this to make ObamaCare appear to be working.
Obama claimed that he fixed the broken healthcare system and that going forward, ‘families would be able to get insurance for the price of cable.’
Obama’s and Schumer’s failed policies for decades have caused healthcare costs to skyrocket. At least is it is nice of Schumer to post this, admitting ObamaCare failed.
Coming in 2026, several ObamaCare health insurance providers have massive price increases planned for Affordable Care Act. These are Double Digit premium price increases coming 2026. States already reporting 27% price increases statewide for certain providers in some states, others providers and states have published their huge price increases.
Schumer’s feigned sticker shock ignores the real crisis: Medicaid is collapsing under bureaucratic waste and untracked usage. The ACA’s tax credits were Band-Aids on a system rigged by Big Pharma and hospital monopolies. They were all in cahoots with Obama.

The real winners were the health insurance companies — the very people Barack Obama said “hated” ObamaCare. All insurance companies skyrocketed in value, like Humana:
It is the same for the others. Biden “enhanced ObamaCare subsidies” are a scam that only subsidize insurance companies. And subsidize abortion.
Premiums spike because Congress refused to cut middlemen, fraud, and ER abuse by illegal aliens. Redirect that $1,396/month to citizens who paid in — not illegal aliens gaming the system.
Real reform means slashing bloat, not subsidizing failure. Health insurance became more unaffordable. It got so bad, in 2021 Biden and Democrats passed temporary subsidies with an expiration date of December 31, 2025, to hide the real cost of ObamaCare insurance.

This system was rigged and made far worse by Democrats and their free healthcare for illegal aliens – their voting base. In fact, is was, and still is, costing America a fortune.
Remember, Congress exempted themselves from ObamaCare! It is expiring, the Democrats are attempting to slide it back into the CR bill that has closed the Givernment.
Last year Biden extended ObamaCare to DACA (illegals who arrived here before June of 2007 and were under the age of 31 as of June 2012).

I remember when Democrats were cheering ObamaCare. As a private business owner, responsible for my own insurance, my premiums would have gone up 4-fold, my out-of-pocket maximum up 6-fold, and my deductibles up 4-fold+. I went to a co-op Christian program for less than what I was paying before ObamaCare.
I will never forget one liberal friend of Facebook lauding that she would get free birth control. Pay an extra $10,000 +/- to get $200 free birth control. That is the liberal mindset.
Jonathan Gruber, the "ObamaCare Architect," explains why ObamaCare Health Insurance got so expensive and how it relied on ignorant (and dumb) voters to pass. He said “Americans are too stupid to understand the Affordable Care Act.”
Democrats passed ObamaCare which made deductibles so high that you rarely ever reach them, so you self-pay for medical bills plus out of pocket for insurance you rarely use. It was designed to hurt working class to fund healthcare for deadbeats and illegal aliens.
Before ObamaCare health insurance companies could offer cheaper plans with certain things excluded. But ObamaCare banned those cheaper plans.
ObamaCare pays for “gender affirming care” – read child mutilation. As a result, by 2017, there was a 150% increase in sex reassignment surgeries in the United States.
ObamaCare fund abortion. Senator Josh Hawley has introduced a bill to stop ALL abortion funding under ObamaCare.
It must be repealed.
