o New taxes on services.
o Virginia Democrats introduce bill to impose new car taxes, Highway use fees, and a new 0.2% sales tax to put money into transportation slush funds
- Green Agenda:
o Ban gas powered leaf blowers, edgers and mowers.
o No longer just taxes on gas riding mowers, Dems want those taxes on your battery mower too!
- Perversion:
o Make it illegal to approach somebody at an abortion clinic.
o Enshrine LGBTQ+ rights in the state constitution.
o Enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution.
o 48 hours into Governor Spanberger’s term, Democrats have passed abortion through birth and you will soon be able to deliver a baby in Virginia and then chat about whether or not you’ll let him or her keep breathing.

o Fire Republican appointees to the University of Virginia board.

o For discretionary contracts under $100K, White men are barred from even being considered unless there’s literally no competition.

o Extend the time absentee ballots can be received after Election Day to three days. (This is to enable cheating.)
o Allow people to cast their votes electronically through the internet.
o Expand ranked-choice voting. (This is to enable cheating.)
o Extend the deadline for ballot curing to one week after Election Day. (This is to enable cheating.)
o A bill to prohibit cleaning voter rolls in local and statewide elections in the 90 days prior to an election. (This is to enable cheating.)
o Enter back into membership for the Commonwealth in the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC). (This is to enable cheating.)
o Redact the addresses of political candidates from FOIAs.
o Add Virginia to the National Popular Vote Compact for presidential electors. (This is to enable cheating.)
o Make it illegal to hand count ballots.
o Machine-only vote counting to fortify elections for fraud. (This is to enable cheating.)
o HB968, filed January 13, 2026, requires all machine-readable ballots be counted exclusively by scanners. The bill, pushed by Democrat Marcia “Cia” Price, removes a key transparency safeguard. Voters are asking why banning hand counts was prioritized over voter confidence or audit expansion.
Democrats moved at lightning speed to try to set up permanent cheating in Virginia.
- Attack Second Amendment:
o $500 sales tax on firearm suppressors.
o "Assault weapons" and large capacity magazine ban.
o 11% sales tax on all firearms and ammunition.
o Virginia Democrats introduce bill with loosely vague restrictions on “firearm industry members.”
o Prohibit outdoor shooting of a firearm on land less than 5 acres.
- Weaken Crime Laws:
o Lower the criminal penalties for robbery.
o Ban the arrest of illegal aliens in courthouses.
o Remove mandatory minimum sentences. A bill to eliminate mandatory minimum sentencing for rape, manslaughter, assaulting a law enforcement officer, possession and distribution of child pornography, and all repeat violent felonies.
o Dems are switching juvenile crime from a public safety matter to a health matter in order to cover up rising crime.
o A bill to prohibit the State from mentioning an accused criminal’s prior convictions to the jury during the “guilt phase” of the trial.
- Expand Police-state:
o Allow localities to install speed cameras.
o Authorize statewide speed, red light, and “pedestrian crossing” violation cameras.
- Illegal Alien:
o Guarantee illegal aliens free education.
o A “grant pilot program” opening the door to Somali-Minnesota–style child and home care fraud.
- Other insanity:
o Accelerate a minimum wage increase.
o Replace Columbus Day with "Indigenous Peoples Day."
o Democrats introduce bill allowing unlimited taxpayer grant money to local government employees to go towards their housing purchase.
o Virginia Democrats introduce bill to mandate nurses receive woke racial “bias training” to maintain their license.
HB 1314 is effectively the end of qualified immunity in Virginia state court. If this passes, police officers and other government officials can be personally sued for constitutional claims without the qualified-immunity shield, with exposure to damages, punitive damages, and attorney’s fees — even when the law isn’t clearly established.
Virginia is moving to add +4 blue Congressional seats. the General Assembly is moving to impose new congressional maps and force a special election in April — maps that would change Virginia’s delegation to 10 Democrats and just 1 Republican.
Virginia is rejoining the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative that will jack up electricity costs. … which Youngkin removed VA from in 2021. She ran on "affordability" and is about to raise every Virginian's utility bills.
The Virginia Senate democrats just passed language for a constitutional amendment to enshrine abortion up until birth in the Virginia Constitution. The amendment will appear on the ballot this fall.
And it gets worse. Gov. Abigail Spanberger’s first act was repealing Glenn Youngkin’s order requiring police to cooperate with ICE when arresting child rapists, mrderers, and violent felons. The primary goal of the Democrat party is to flood America with illegal immigrants from third world countries.

This could get interesting. Alberta is moving rapidly towards succeeding from Canada.
Hundreds gathered over the weekend in Edmonton and other cities for the second straight week to support a petition needing 177,732 signatures by May 2 to trigger a referendum on Alberta independence.
The Trump admin is open to recognizing Alberta as an independent nation if it votes to secede from Canada in 2026. Alberta is landlocked; 88% of their trade is with the US. Their oil goes to market through the US. This could be good for America.
Alberta could be one of the wealthiest nations on Earth. It is an energy superpower.
They are crushed by federal taxes, and globalists carbon schemes, and mass immigration policies Albertans never voted for. Why should a province rich in oil, gas, agriculture, and talent be struggling to afford steak?
An independent Alberta could:
• eliminate income tax
• control its own borders
• manage its own resources
• build a system that actually works
Alberta doesn’t need Canada to survive. Canada needs Alberta. And more people are starting to realize it.

Our Kid’s Faith
Jude 3 … earnestly contend for the faith ...
Our kids do not lose their faith because we expect them to believe Bible “fables,” as Andy Stanley says. Aside from the world pulling them away, they lose their faith for two reasons. First, they sadly often see hypocrisy in the lives of their parents and other adult Christians.
Secondly, no one teaches them to defend their faith. No one explains why they should believe. We entertain them in church, but fail to equip them to defend their faith. We teach them Biblical stories, and even encourage them to memorize Scripture, but do not teach them why they should believe.
73% of kids raised in Christian homes abandon their faith by age 18. (Although, Gen Z may be an exception.) Their schools teach them to think critically about everything except faith. We tell them "just believe." School teaches them "question everything." Guess which message wins when they're 18?
But, this isn't about rebellion, liberal college professors, or peer pressure. This is about a fundamental flaw in how we teach faith to children. It is a flaw that starts destroying their belief when they're just 8 years old.
Between the ages 8–14, children's brains undergo what neuroscientists call "the cognitive shift." They stop accepting information just because parents and adults say it. They start asking "why" and "how do you know?" Because, ‘I said so,’ no longer suffices.
If children don't develop reasons for faith during this window, they'll find reasons against it later. Sadly, in our churches, 99% of children's ministry focuses on what to believe, not why to believe it. We must teach children how to think, not just what to think.
We must give reasons to believe; we must be “ready always to give an answer.”
1 Peter 3:15 … be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you …
Kids don't need to just learn Christianity. They need to learn to think Christian-like. We must help them develop a Biblical worldview with evidence and facts to defend the Faith.
Fortunately, our Bibles are self-authenticating through history, prophecy, archeology, and science – true science, that is, not “science falsely so called.”

The scientific evidence of a young earth, evidence of creation, and the evidence of a global flood are legion. The evidences are astounding. Yet, it is rarely, if ever, shared with our youth. They get a steady diet of secular big bang cosmology, old earth theory, and evolution in school. But, we fail to share the scientific evidence that aligns with Scripture and refutes these worldly claims and theories.
History corroborates Scripture. Of first century historians, including Josephus, there are ten know non-Christian historical writers who mention Jesus within 150 years of His life. These include: Celsus, Tacitus, and Talmud who would be considered anti-Christian historian writers, but affirm the Biblical record.
It is the same with prophecy. For example, from Peter Stoner’s work, based on the odds of just eight (8) of 300 prophecies of the events surrounding Jesus birth coming true; fulfilling all eight prophecies, in one man is: 1 in 1017 (there are 7.5x1018 grains of sand on earth) … this essentially incomprehensible! Many a man has been saved attempting to prove the Bible wrong because of the impossibility of consistently fulfilled prophecy – impossible, apart from God, that is.
Archeology is equally as astounding. Every year hundreds of discoveries are made in archaeological digs in the lands of the Bible. Many of these finds relate directly to the Bible; others shed light on different periods in biblical history. Hundreds of finds over the past 150 years have continuously demonstrated the historical reliability of Scripture.
Had the Bible been written by one person or at one time this would still be amazing. However, the 66 books of the Bible were written by 40 authors over the span of 1,500 to 1,600 years, while on three (3) different continents, and in three (3) different languages. The Bible is complex, diverse, and intricate, yet it has one unified message that hangs together flawlessly. This diagram shows the 63,779 cross references between books of the Bible.
If we send our kids to liberal colleges without being well-grounded and able to defend their faith, they will return home as atheists. Our churches must begin to teach the defense of our Faith.
