Trump’s latest move is HUGE!
It is brilliantly strategic. It may be his Trump Card. It has far-reaching impact to the geopolitical stage. This may be the most masterful and important thing he has done to date.
These may be the most salient events of our day – unfolding in real-time.
Trump is not just a politician, but a wartime executive, battling economically, informationally, and restore economic, legal, and spiritual sovereignty to the people.

Maduro

As with Iran, Hegseth and General Caine have carried out another flawless precision military exercise. Venezuela claims at least 90 military members were killed or wounded in Delta Force’s operation to capture Nicolás Maduro. Not a single civilian was killed. We lost no American solders. This was not a DEI exercise.
But, there is far more going here than meet the eye. It is more than a war on drugs.
It is a serious geopolitical reset. It is a Brilliant Chess move.
Trump is defending the Western Hemisphere.
Trump has just decoupled South America from Russia, Iran, China and Cuba.
First, here is a bit of background.
History
When Chavez came to power in Venezuela, one of the first things he did was take the guns away from the people. He basically banned the private gun ownership, under the guise of safety.
In 2023 the Biden Admin rolled back sanctions on Venezuela in exchange for a promise from Maduro that Venezuela would hold free and fair elections. Then Maduro had the election, he lost by a landslide and just ignored the election.
People protested and they got shot. They couldn't defend themselves.
In 2024 Maduro lost the election, stayed in power, and had his opponents killed, arrested or driven from the country.
Venezuela was hollowed out under Hugo Chavez through mismanagement and corruption. Under Maduro, the country has collapsed, from one of the wealthiest countries in the western hemisphere to one of the poorest. 25% of the Venezuelan population has fled the country in search of safety and opportunity.
Venezuela used to be twice as wealthy as Chile. Then Chile adopted free-market principles while Venezuela chose socialism. Now Chile is the wealthiest large country in South America and Venezuela the poorest.

Second most corrupt country
Most dangerous country in the world.
Venezuela has deep ties to the Islamic regime in Iran and Hezbollah. They coordinated drug trafficking to the US, killing over 70,000 Americans. Maduro is an evil man, and it’s time for him to pay for his crimes.
Venezuela took control (seized) of more than $12 billion in U.S. oil assets in Venezuela through nationalization and expropriation in the 1970s and again in the 2000s. These will now be returned.
Democrats allowed Nicolas Maduro to empty his prisons and mental asylums and send them to America as refugees. DHS has this in writing, according to Victor Avila, retired special agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
Resources
Venezuela will likely be able to grow their oil production back to 3 million bpd like it was before Hugo Chavez's socialist takeover. About 2 million bpd was exported to the USA back then. This move will also dramatically improve energy supply to the US economy.
Venezuela currently has 303 billion barrels of crude oil reserves, which Trump says the US now controls. Oil prices are trading at ~$57/barrel, making Venezuela's total reserves worth $17.3 Trillion.
Venezuela has:
• Largest oil reserves in the world
• Massive gold endowment
• One of the largest iron ore deposits in the Western Hemisphere
• Significant bauxite reserves
• Meaningful nickel, and rare mineral potential
• Enormous natural gas reserve
• They hold 200 Trillion cubic feet of natural gas reserves, and many are unexplored.
The US now controls the largest oil reserve in the world.
Texas and Louisiana also happen to have 6 of the largest heavy crude oil refineries in the world.
A Very Strategic Move

Trump is removing the deep state governments that kept the wars going; Along with the shadow governments within these countries.

Trump has disconnected Venezuela from Russia, China, Cuba, and Iran. He just cut off significant dirty money flow from Venezuela to UK, Europe and our enemies.
Trump put domestic banks on notice. Nicolas Maduro recently disclosed that 85% of the cartel’s money is laundered through the US banking system. Switzerland freezes assets linked to Venezuelan President Maduro.
The irony of the situation is that whilst Trump is accused of imperialism what he is actually doing is exposing the system that made imperialism invisible. Trump is not conquering; he is liberating nations from the hidden hand that was strangling nations for profit.
The fall of Maduro is the Berlin Wall of Latin America.
Here are some of the geopolitical strategic implications of removing Maduro:
China
China spent over $100 billion propping up Venezuela — then watched as its “ironclad ally” was arrested and flown out in a flawless U.S. operation.
It hits China hard with: $20 billion in oil investments gone, $60 billion in unpaid loans a massive loss.
Beijing invested tens of billions of dollars into Venezuela through opaque oil-for-loans deals that thrived under weak institutions and zero transparency. Those arrangements gave China leverage and priority access, not just repayment.
Now that Venezuela is reopening to the world, those deals are being scrutinized, renegotiated, and diluted as the country looks toward Western markets and broader investment. China will likely recover much of its money over time, but it loses something more valuable: control, exclusivity, and influence.
China spent 20 years moving pieces into position. Bribing and arming dictators from Iran to Venezuela, while ignoring their people. President Trump just threw out the pieces, a refusal to play a rigged game. It is a global reset and a master stroke.
China has been buying 60-90% of Venezuelan crude oil. With new governments in Venezuela and Iran, the US will be able to regulate up to 70% of the CCP's present-day oil needs.
China over the last nine months has been losing friends and proxies all over the world.
China is currently getting 1 million barrels of oil per day from Venezuela since US Sanctions were implemented.
America does not need Venezuela’s oil, we have plenty. But, we cannot have our enemies setting up shop in our backyard.

Trump moved in on Maduro while China’s delegation was in Caracas to meet with Maduro. This timing was no accident. It was a clear message to China.

Flashback to two weeks ago when the Chinese made it known publicly that they were wargaming scenarios against the US in Cuba, the Gulf of America, and the Caribbean.
Taiwan - Japan
This all relates to hemming in the CCP, protecting Taiwan, and a lot more. CCP war planners cannot execute against Taiwan under those conditions.
Gordon Chang: China absolutely needs foreign energy to maintain its assault on the international order. Trump’s action today against Venezuela hits the Chinese hard. The fall of Iran will be, after the loss of Maduro, a critical blow to Beijing’s grand project.
This takes pressure off the US in the Indo-Pacific regarding China’s interest in Taiwan for a while, to the net benefit of American NATO commitments in Europe.
If China had any plans to invade Taiwan, they needed access to Venezuelan oil.
Taiwan officials see Trump's move for what it is -- a massive deterrent against Communist China. Chinese defense systems failed Maduro. Chinese oil supplies are compromised. Chinese commitments in the Americas are in shambles.
Iran
Make Iran Persia again.
Trump went after Maduro first to make sure Khamenei and the terrorist Islamic Republic occupying Iran can't escape to Venezuela when the Islamic Regime falls and Iran is freed.
All of the IRGC'S assets, drone factories and military bases in Venezuela are now in the hands of the United States.
Maduro’s arrest dismantles another pillar in the global network Iran built to finance its war against Israel. Venezuela wasn't a proxy like Hezbollah or Hamas. Through Hezbollah, it became an offshore hub that generated cash, laundered funds, and enabled Iran to project power far beyond the Middle East.
Now that Maduro has been captured, Hamas and Hezbollah won’t be getting as much money from Iran.
Iranians are rising up against their tyrannical government as well. Trump has promised to help them should the government attempt mass killings. Maduro’s arrest has emboldened the Iranian people.

The protests in Iran have now spread past the point where this regime has any chance of survival. Its only a matter of time now.
Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has a back-up plan to flee Iran for Moscow with a close circle of up to 20 aides and family should unrest intensify and security forces desert or fail to suppress the protests, The Times reported on Sunday.
Iranians are reportedly overrunning and burning Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps facilities. Reports of widespread protests last night, as Iran’s Islamic Republic regime nears a breaking point.
Benjamin Netanyahu: "We stand with the struggle of the Iranian people and their aspirations for freedom, liberty, and justice. It's very possible that we are standing at a moment when the Iranian people are taking their fate into their own hands."
Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump said the US is watching events in Iran closely and will respond forcefully if demonstrators are harmed. A significant buildup of U.S. military assets has arrived in Europe — and is reportedly en route to Middle East.
The U.S. reportedly struck a facility in or near the port city of Maracaibo linked to the assembly of Iranian drones. Hizbullah was responsible for setting up domestic assembly for Iranian-designed drones such as the ANSU-100 at Maracaibo. Hizbullah operatives provided the expertise needed to weaponize these drones.
President Trump has reportedly given the green light to Israel to strike Iran over its nuclear ambitions and ballistic missile development.
President Trump urged GCC countries (including Qatar and Oman) and Turkey to convey a final warning to the Khamenei regime and its associates: surrender or accept a safe exit—otherwise face the same fate as Maduro amid the brutal crackdown on protesting Iranian citizens.
Crown Prince of Iran Reza Pahlavi was 7 years old during his father’s coronation in 1967. Now aged 65, the Crown Prince has been called on by Iranians to lead the country when the regime falls.
Freedom would make Iran pro-America and pro-Israel. It would decoupled Russia and China from the Middle East.
Russia
Venezuela regime change is being seen as a direct setback for China and Russia. Both invested heavily to keep their influence alive, but the ground reality shifted fast.
Venezuela gave Moscow a rare foothold in the Western Hemisphere a place to project influence, poke at the United States, and signal that Russia could operate close to U.S. territory.
Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska warns that if the US secures control over Venezuela’s oil fields, it could end up overseeing more than half of the world’s reserves. In his view, Washington would then be able to hold oil prices near $50 a barrel, putting serious pressure on Russia’s state-capitalist economic model.
Tapping into Venezuela's heavy crude oil reserves effectively further weakens Russia's influence.
Cuba
Venezuela wasn’t just an ally to Havana, it was a lifeline. Subsidized oil, financial support, and deep intelligence cooperation helped keep Cuba’s socialist system afloat during its worst economic moments.
That relationship only worked as long as Venezuela remained cut off from the global system. With a new government focused on recovery and legitimacy, there is no political or economic reason to keep carrying Cuba. The loss hits Havana hard, and it hits fast.
President Trump: “Cuba now has no income. They got all of their income from Venezuela, from the Venezuelan oil, they’re not getting any of that now. Cuba is literally ready to fall, and you have a lot of great Cuban-Americans who are going to be very happy about this.”
It could lead to their liberation.
Canada
We import about 4 million bpd of oil from Canada. That oil is mostly landlocked and most can’t be exported to China. Trump just kneecapped Canada; they lost what little leverage they had.
Now Venezuela heavy oil will flow to the USA. 1 million bpd now (no longer going to China) and it can easily grow to 2 million bpd in the coming years as American experts help Venezuela rebuild their infrastructure for oil exports.
Canadian oil exports just lost any pricing power they might have expected. This will bury the Alberta oil market.
Britain
Trump just struck the financial jugular of the British Imperial Empire.
It has a lot more to do with Britain, Tony Blair and dirty money than it does with oil or drugs. Trump, interestingly along with Putin, is ending British Imperial Control.
The meeting in Moscow last week with Russian, China and America, has England in panic. Trump is cutting off drug and dirty money lifelines. Like Europe, UK is falling behind and being cut out of influence and control.
Europe (EU), UK, NATO and the UN are being made irrelevant. Trump is upending the traditional geopolitical playbook.

Venezuelans are removing dictatorship statues as Nicolas Maduro. Democrats are furious after Venezuelans in South Florida wore MAGA Hats and sang the Star Spangled Banner in celebration of what President Trump has accomplished.
Venezuela became a narco-state under the direction of George H.W. Bush, who installed a leader there many years ago and then sent his son, Jeb Bush to set up the drug trafficking routes and money laundering system.
We may see Maduro publicly admit to everything - election interference, narco-terrorism, migrant invasion, and working with far-Left NGO’s and elected official payoffs. This has been an incredibly premeditated play on Trump’s part. Things could get very interesting.

“Our hour of freedom has arrived.” - María Corina Machado
María Corina Machado, who won the Nobel Prize for her democratic opposition to Maduro (and gave it to Trump), was barred from running in the last election. Her proxy candidate, González, won, but the Venezuelan congress declared Maduro the winner.
Edmundo González replaced her on the ballot … and won. Maduro refused to recognize the results, and remained in power. The United States recognized González as the legitimate leader of Venezuela after he soundly defeated Maduro by a more than two-to-one margin in the 2024 election. Machado could theoretically assume the position as vice president of Edmundo González.
Trump has not stated what he plans for their government. He has stated that America will run the government until Venezuela gets back on its feet. American Oil Companies will reclaim and restore their facilities.
Democrat Hypocrisy
Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) blasts fellow Democrats criticizing Maduro's U.S. capture and extradition: "Why, as a Democrat, can’t we just acknowledge it was successful?"
Trump could have arrested Hitler, and the Democrats would have found fault.
It seems hypocritical to me that the Left put on “No Kings” rallies claiming that Trump is acting like an authoritarian dictator but now they are defending Venezuela's dictator.
During Trump's first term Maduro stayed in power after an illegitimate election. The MSM/Democrats repeatedly claimed that Maduro remaining in power was proof that Trump was "Putin's puppet."
Chuck Schumer was just caught in massive hypocrisy, slamming Trump in 2020 for not ousting Maduro, but in 2026, actively fighting to thwart Trump's actions.
Back in 2015, Venezuela’s dictator lost it when Barack Obama officially labeled Venezuela a national security threat to the United States. Not one Democrat objected. Not a peep.
Obama killed Osama Bin Laden, no congressional approval. Obama invaded Libya, the opposition kills Gaddafi. no approval. Biden killed the Al-Qaeda leader in 2022. No congressional approval.
Obama never sought Congressional authorization for these bombings: Syria - 12,192 bombs, Iraq - 12,095 bombs, Libya - 496 bombs, Yemen - 35 bombs, Somalia - 14 bombs, Pakistan - 3 bombs; 26,172 bombs for a total of three bombs every hour, of every day.
1989 Joe Biden would love what President Trump just did: "Let's go after the drug lords where they live! With an international strike force. No safe haven for narco-terrorists."
In January, just before they left office, the Biden and Kamala offered $25 million for information leading to Maduro’s arrest. Now Kamala is outraged Maduro was arrested.
