Victory

“This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” (1 John 5:4)

With the assassination of Charlie Kirk, they thought they had silenced his voice, but they have amplified it around the world. Like the blood of other martyrs before him, his blood speaks loudly.

Where the enemy planned defeat, we’ve seen an unprecedented victory. Charlie’s momentary death brought not only resurrected glory for him, but life to countless millions who have heard his message of life through Jesus.

At the 2025 North Georgia State Fair, we saw the gospel that Charlie Kirk preached change lives right before our eyes. By God’s grace and the power of the word, we led 795 kids, youth, and young adults to understand, accept, and receive salvation through faith in Jesus.

When we initially asked why they thought they might go to heaven, the most common answers were: I’m a good person,” “I go to church,” “I believe in God,” “I’ve done the best I could.”

Each response revealed hesitation, uncertainty—fruitlessly hoping their good outweighed their bad. You could feel the weight of doubt in their words.

But we also talked with, prayed with, and encouraged dozens of young men and women who had already put their trust in Jesus Christ. The difference was stunning. You could see it in their eyes, hear it in their words, and feel it in their presence.

When they said: “I’m going to heaven because I’ve put my faith in Jesus—His death and resurrection, His sacrifice for my sins,” there was clarity. There was peace. There was confidence. They carried a victory that the world can’t counterfeit.

Victory isn’t found in religion, philosophy, self-esteem, or human effort. It’s not found in a shallow nod to belief in God. Victory comes only through Jesus Christ.

  •  Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

Victory is found in no one else and nothing else. It comes by grace through faith—not of ourselves, but the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8–9). And once received, victory isn’t something we strive for; it’s something we live from. That’s what hundreds of the next generation have now from our God Mobile outreach.

Without Christ, people try to build victory on financial success, gender redefinition, religious effort, or self-improvement. But all of these measures fall woefully short. Only Jesus is the solid rock foundation for victory—the rest is sinking sand.

Charlie Kirk knew this. On 9-10-25, he gained his eternal victory. At his memorial on 9-20-25, the seed of Charlie’s life was already bearing fruit—a harvest of faith in countless hearts, as his death demonstrates that,

  • “Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” (John 12:12)

His story reminds us that victory is never about avoiding loss or death—it’s about what Christ does through surrendered lives. That’s the victory we need to live. Let’s remember:

Victory Comes Through Losing Our Lives

True freedom isn’t in clinging to life—it’s in surrender. If we hang onto our lives, we can be threatened, manipulated, and silenced by fear. But when we lay them down, we can’t be controlled and have freedom to live the life God has for us.

  • “Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. (Matthew 16:25)

  • “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” (Revelation 12:11)

 Victory Needs a Firm Foundation

You can’t build lasting victory on anything temporal. Money, status, politics, or pleasure all crumble. Only Christ is a foundation that endures.

  • “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11)

  • “The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” (Matthew 7:25)

You Can’t Win if You’re Not on the Team

Victory isn’t for spectators. Cheering from the sidelines isn’t enough. Being in the locker room doesn’t count. We must be clothed in Christ’s righteousness—His jersey, His covering. That’s how we get on the team.

  • “All of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” (Galatians 3:27)

  • “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Victory Comes Through Unity

Victory flourishes when God’s people walk together in love and purpose. Division weakens, but unity in Christ multiplies strength and amplifies testimony. It brings God’s blessing.

When the two most powerful and influential men in the world reconciled at Charlie Kirk's memorial, we saw a huge victory amidst the influence of the gospel being preached and God being worshipped.  Benny Johnson reported from backstage:

“Elon Musk hugged Erica, looked at all of us, and said,’If we don’t hang together, we will surely hang separately. So let us unite.’”

  • “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!...For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life for evermore.” (Psalm 133:1,3)

  • “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:3)

  • “…that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (John 17:21)

If unity among people can bring such strength, how much greater is the victory we share in the One who unites us all—Jesus Christ.

Victory in Christ is not earned—it’s received. It’s not temporary—it’s eternal. It’s not fragile—it’s unshakable. Jesus said: Take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) Because He overcame, so do we.

Like the martyrs of old—and Charlie Kirk in our day—victory isn’t in avoiding death but in overcoming through faith. Death doesn’t get the last word. Jesus does.

Let’s take hold of what Jesus died for, declare our victory in Christ, and testify of what His blood did for us,

“They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.” (Revelation 12:11)
