Lebanon Follows
Lebanon was once a thriving Christian-majority nation. Open borders changed that.
Now the Lebanese government just outlawed Hezbollah's military wing; for the first time in history.
The tide may be shifting in Beirut. For years, Iran acted as the master and Hezbollah as the warden. This marks a historic rupture inside Lebanon.
Hezbollah fired rockets at Haifa and northern Israel overnight, choosing to enter the battle and facing a heavy price. The IDF struck Hezbollah targets across Lebanon, including Beirut, hitting headquarters, launch sites, and senior commanders.
Over fifty villages with Hezbollah infrastructure were warned for evacuation ahead of future strikes. Hezbollah again sided with Iran over the people of Lebanon. Anyone acting against Israel will pay a heavy price.
The UAE just backed Lebanon's decision to outlaw Hezbollah's military wing and to demand them to surrender its weapons to the state. The Arab world is dismantling the axis of resistance politically while Israel dismantles it militarily.
In a bold move, Israel launched pinpoint strikes in northeastern Lebanon, obliterating a Hezbollah facility.
China and Oil

China's Iran's biggest oil customer. They buy $30+ billion in Iranian crude annually at deep discounts because of sanctions. That oil flow just stopped.
Mario Nawfal: Beijing's got 3 (terrible) options: back Iran militarily and escalate with the U.S., abandon Iran and lose their Middle East foothold, or stay silent and look weak. They're choosing option 3.
Iran no longer has any ships or boats in the area. Their ability to communicate with each other is mostly eliminated. Their leadership is all dead.
China is pressuring Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. There is one problem. Iran did not close it. Seven insurance companies in London did. China buys 80% of Iran’s shipped oil. Beijing has a $400 billion, 25-year cooperation agreement with Tehran. China is Iran’s economic lifeline. If any country on earth has leverage over Iran, it is China.
It was closed by the withdrawal of reinsurance capacity from five to ten firms, mostly in London, backstopping twelve P&I clubs that cover 90% of global tonnage. Iran did not order those firms to withdraw. Iran cannot order them to reinstate. Neither can China.
China has leverage over Iran. China has zero leverage over Lloyd’s of London.
Iran’s top ally and weapons supplier, China, could lose 40–45% of its crude oil imports if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. Nearly half of Beijing’s imported oil flows through that narrow corridor.
Peter St Onge: 90% of Iran’s oil was going to China. 70% of Venezuela’s oil was going to China. It makes up approximately 25% and 5% respectively of China’s oil. China’s now facing a 2 million barrel hole.
China has about 85 days of oil between government and private reserves. Which is almost identical to US stockpiles. The difference is US domestic production is 14 million barrels per day. China does 4.
Furthermore, Russia and China were humiliated with their defense systems in Venezuela, and now again in Iran. Trumpo also damaged Russia's drone manufacturing capabilities, as Iran designs drones for Russia.
Glenn Beck: China and Russia's BRICS alliance recently lost India, a key player, to Trump. And their two greatest allies in the West - Venezuela and Cuba - have either fallen or are nearing collapse. Iran is just the latest piece of the puzzle.
